What is Suiji?

Suíjī (随机), meaning stochastic or random, refers to a team selection process where players who sign up individually are assigned to teams through randomization. Participants are divided into three seed groups: "A," "B," and "C" with A seed being the top seed, B seed being the middle seed, and C seed being the lowest seed. Players outside the top 96 weighted rank range are excluded from the tournament. Teams are formed through a live randomization process, each consisting of two players from each seed group (A, A, B, B, C, C). Players in seed "A" can substitute with members from seeds "B" or "C" within their team, while players in seed "B" can only substitute with "C" seed members. If no "C" players are available, the team must forfeit, as there are no substitutes for the "C" seed players.
